Mayoria Global, Inc., a multimedia driven student learning and development company, was founded in 2007 by a group of professionals from the financial, marketing and education fields. In founding Mayoria Global, its Founder and Principal Partner, Cesar Garcia, wanted to create an organization that tackled many of the challenges that he faced while in high school. As a financial professional with ten yrs of Wall St. experience, Cesar quickly decided to make financial literacy a core category. However, he also wanted to open doors to new opportunities that would develop a student professionally and make them more marketable to there chosen college/university and future employer. "We present students with the right products and services that tackle everything from preparing for the SAT exam to deciding on which university and career fits a student's needs," said Cesar. "We offer unique categories in student learning and development which we believe to be necessary to succeed in today's competitive and challenging world and job market, " added Cesar.
Gap Year Programs It is usually the period covering the end of a student’s senior year and the commencement of college work. Both high school guidance counselors and a university’s college admissions office are seeing a gap year as a critical phase where students can develop important self-developed, interactive, communication, human and transferable skills. Literature suggests that hard skills (academic skills, experience and level of expertise) contribute to only 15% of one’s success while remaining 85% is made by the above mentioned soft skills.
